It would be nice to see prices both in BTC and in chosen currency, as it happens for your account balance.

+1 for this. Seems like there is no good reason not too. It would save a bit of time for everyone.

I have a vague memory of suggesting something similar to this but can't find my post about it, my suggestion was to to split it up into three types:
1) Bitcoin - the currency of choice of Silk Road.
2) Vendor - the currency of choice of the Vendor selling the product.
3) Buyer - the currency of choice of the Buyer buying the product.
So at any time there would always be three prices shown for any one product.
----------
Just to make a short example, let's say we have a product called X:
Product X - Silk Road: Bitcoin Price: ฿0.2295
Product X - Vendor ( Swedish Krona ): 120 kr
Product X - Buyer ( Euro ): €18.36
It's a bit unfortunate how many Vendors have missed it's possible to price their products in their native currency, so they still have very weird numbers on their products. ???

+1,
but we would like to add that we would like to put in the price in currency, while SR keeps updating the price in BC and not the other way around.

Hmm not sure if I'm misunderstanding you here but isn't this already possible? "account" -> "Settings" -> "peg listings to"
The prices of your listings
will be constant in
whichever currency you
peg them to, and will
fluctuate in the other
currency based on the
exchange rate.
With that said even if I misunderstood you there's a lot of Vendors who are not aware of this yet and even the majority of the Buyers seem to be unaware of this feature as I usually get a steady stream of questions regarding this matter from them. It would be interesting if Silk Road decided to change the option of "display prices in" to automatically correspond with the Local Currency of Choice and do the same with all new Accounts "one time", after that the Buyer gets to set it to whatever they want. This should not apply to the Vendors however as they have to figure it out themselves.
